ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
Think "grab & go" sweets & snacks that accommodate travel.
All food must be individually wrapped and labeled.
No franchise/chain donuts (Dunkin’ Donuts, etc).
Avoid glazed pastries as they do not wrap well.
All beverages must be sealed in individual servings (cans, bottles, etc.)
No alcohol.
Please confirm your provisions with the volunteer coordinator to prevent duplicates and maximize our resources.
VOLUNTEER GUIDELINES & CONDUCT:
NO SMOKING OR VAPING allowed at the picnic shed where RUCK-UP will be set up. Smoking is allowed in designated areas only.
NO SOLICITATION allowed. Volunteers must stay within the picnic shed and not hand out brochures to people in other areas of the Welcome Center.
You must WEAR GLOVES when handling food.
Sharing "war stories" is not appropriate and is highly discouraged
Offensive language will not be tolerated.​
Dress code is smart casual. This means wearing clean, professional attire that shows you care about your appearance and the agencies you represent.​
Children must be accompanied by an adult.​
No PETS.​
Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own chair.Â
DIRECTIONS:
Access to the Welcome Center is from I-91 Northbound ONLY.
Travel south on I-91 from Brattleboro to EXIT 28 - Bernardston MA.
TURN LEFT at end of ramp.
Go across BRIDGE.
TAKE LEFT for I-91 N ramp.
